ConSol activities

For the last decade ConSol has been competitively selected to perform quality assurance (QA) field inspections of homes and apartment buildings weatherized by CSD’s contracted network of Local Weatherization Services Providers. ConSol's QA inspections help ensure that services provided are in conformance with all standards and policies, as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and building codes. ConSol, through its CSD contract, developed infrastructure, database, quality control, and reporting procedures necessary to execute 6,500 to 9,000 quality assurance inspections annually for energy weatherization.

“ConSol has worked with the California Department of Community Services for several years and is a trusted 3rd party inspector for our low-income weatherization programs.”

Why ConSol?

For decades, ConSol has been trusted by federal, state and local  government entities to develop and implement programs that support skills training,  job creation, clean energy and efficiency, code compliance, and market transformation in the building industry.

Our program management spans from technical training for builders and developers to quality assurance and quality control audits that ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and building codes. We have also played a pivotal role in orchestrating industry stakeholders to research, analyze, and enable the development of zero net energy (ZNE) and zero net carbon (ZNC) communities.
